新华社雅加达1月4日电 当地媒体4日报道，现排名男双世界第一的印尼羽毛球名将苏卡穆约新冠病毒检测为阳性，将无缘1月在泰国举行的比赛。
从本月12日起，世界羽联将在泰国接连举办两站2020年世界巡回赛超级1000级别比赛以及世界巡回赛总决赛。苏卡穆约在赴泰国前的核酸检测中测出阳性，与搭档吉迪恩就此退出比赛，他们的队友则如期前往泰国。
此前一天，男单世界排名第一的桃田贤斗确诊感染新冠肺炎，日本队随即宣布取消前往曼谷参赛的计划。而上月底，中国队宣布出于对疫情形势的担忧决定放弃参赛。
