特朗普“争议”美联储理事提名遭参议院关键程序投票否决
财联社（上海，编辑 史正丞）讯，当地时间周二，颇受争议的美联储理事候选人Judy Shelton在一项关键的参议院程序性投票中遭到否决，这也意味着这项提名很有可能会最终落空。
具体而言，参议院周二就限制提名辩论程序进行投票，最终否决的结果意味着反对派可以无穷无尽地阻碍提名程序进入全体投票确认阶段。
由于Shelton对美联储独立性、金本位制和银行存款担保的观点与许多议员背道而驰，特朗普对于其前经济顾问的提名一开始就引发非常大的争议。除了民主党议员表达反对外，共和党参议员罗姆尼、苏珊·科林斯和拉马尔·亚历山大均表示反对这项提名。叠加查克·格拉斯利宣布因等待新冠检测结果无法投票的因素，最终周二的投票以47-50遭到否决。参议员多数派领袖麦康奈尔同样投出反对票，但此举是程序性举动，这样使得他能够另选时间再度提出对Shelton的提名。
值得一提的是，随着感恩节后亚利桑那州参议员的位置将正式“翻蓝”，对于特朗普和共和党而言，若要继续这项提名下周可能是最后的时间窗口。
