智通财经APP获悉，11月对美股投资来说尤为动荡不安，拜登当选美国总统后，大麻改革似乎已成必然。受此利好消息，极光大麻(TSX:ACB)股价一度被推高至14.48美元，11月5日起的三个交易日涨幅超153%。
然而，极光大麻于11月10日宣布计划发行约1.25亿美元的股票(以每股7.5美元的价格发行1670万股)以筹集资金。根据当日8.3美元的收盘价计算，此次发行将导致至少17%的股权被稀释。消息宣布后，股价下挫，心怀不满的投资者匆忙撤离。
杰富瑞分析师Owen Bennett却对此消息并不意外。该分析师曾表示，股价大幅上涨的原因是“散户错失良机和轧空”，并预计极光大麻可能会利用高估值获利，而这正是公司目前所采取的行动。
此举可能会招致批评，但Bennett认为这是精明之举。极光大麻目前的债务/租赁债务为1.41亿加元，公司需要现金也不足为奇。总之，该分析师维持极光大麻“持有”评级，目标价5.28美元(6.9加元)。
华尔街方面，在追踪该股的分析师中，12位建议持有，2位建议卖出，共识评级为“持有”，平均目标价为21美元。
