根据意大利卫生部11月6日公布的最新数据，意大利单日新增新冠肺炎确诊病例37809例，连续第二天刷新单日新增确诊最高纪录，累计确诊862681例（阿布鲁佐大区核减4例，艾米利亚-罗马涅大区核减3例）；新增死亡446例，累计死亡40638例；新增治愈10586例，累计治愈322925例；现存确诊病例499118例，其中重症监护2515例。
意大利卫生部长斯佩兰扎当天在众议院表示，如果无法使疫情新增曲线下降，医护人员将无法承受新一波疫情的冲击。他呼吁各方放下争议，共同努力抗击疫情。
