智通财经APP获悉，周四，澳大利亚签署了两项协议，分别从诺瓦瓦克斯医药(NVAX.US)处购买4000万剂新冠疫苗，及从辉瑞(PFE.US)和BioNTech(BNTX.US)处购买1000万剂新冠疫苗。
此次交易价值约15亿澳元，是继9月份与阿斯利康(AZN.US)及澳大利亚最大的制药公司CSL Ltd以17亿澳元(约合12.2亿美元)达成近8500万剂疫苗交易后的又一疫苗采购协议。
澳大利亚联邦卫生部长格Greg Hunt表示，从明年3月开始，政府将在该国推出新冠疫苗，希望确保每个澳大利亚人在2021年能获得疫苗。澳大利亚已经连续六天报告零病例。
