此前该公司公布的三季度财报不及市场预期。礼来三季度财报显示，其营收57.406亿美元，同比增长5%，低于市场预期的58.7亿美元。净利润12.084亿美元，同比下降4%。
摊薄每股收益1.33美元，低于市场预期的1.71美元，去年同期为1.37美元。礼来表示，预计2020年的每股收益将在6.2美元至6.4美元之间，在非公认会计准则下，每股收益在7.2美元至7.4美元之间。
