据相关媒体报道，特斯拉将于美国再建一座整车组装工厂，以生产电动卡车和跑车。特斯拉并未披露建设该工厂的具体地点，只表示该工厂将建在美国。
这并非特斯拉首次披露将在美国再建设一座整车组装工厂的消息，在二季度及三季度的财报中，特斯拉都有提及在美国会再建设一座生产电动卡车Semi和电动卡车Roadster的工厂，但也未披露具体的地点。
据悉，该公司此前已表示在德克萨斯州工厂建设超级工厂，并计划生产面向北美东半部市场的Cybertruck、Semi、Model3和Model Y。
