汇丰银行英国办事处将裁员300多人
近日，汇丰银行开始重组其在英国的商业银行业务，这将导致约300名员工被裁。
据了解，这是该行今年早些时候宣布的全球重组计划的一部分，旨在降低运营成本。
重组过程将导致汇丰全球办事处的员工减少约35000人，此外，该行不得不合并其私人银行部门和财富业务、削减欧洲股票业务、缩减美国零售网络。
汇丰银行CEO Noel Quinn此前表示，银行不能无限期地中止重组计划，该行在亚洲地区的大部分业务预测疲软，这也进一步加快了重组金进度。
汇丰的商业银行业务专注于为中小企业提供贷款以及其他银行服务。今年8月份，该行透露其今年贷款损失可能达到130亿美元。
除英国办事处外，汇丰还计划在法国裁员，截至2021年底减少该国255个工作岗位，占其法国全球银行和市场部门全职员工总数的37％。
除汇丰外，丹麦的Danske银行也计划在未来6到12个月内裁减1600个工作岗位以降低运营成本。
