营收为18亿美元，同比下降68.2%;净亏损11.57亿美元，去年同期录得净利润6.59亿美元。
每股亏损1.96美元，去年同期录得每股盈利1.24美元。
运营开支为32.04亿美元，同比下降33.5%;运营录得亏损14.11亿美元，去年同期录得运营利润8.19亿美元。
因载客率同比下降38.6%，每可用座位里程(ASM)营收同比下降52.7%至6.78美分。
截至9月30日，公司持有现金及短期投资共计146亿美元，以及10亿美元循环信贷额度。此外，公司拥有价值约120亿美元的未抵押资产。
西南航空预计十月载客率为50%-55%，此前预期为45%-55%。
