智通财经APP获悉，必和必拓 (NYSE:BHP)于今日(10月20日)公布截至2020年9月30日的2021财年第一季度产销结果。
该公司表示，第一季度西澳铁矿石产量为7400万吨，高于去年同期的6900万吨，同比增长7.2%，略高于市场预期的7350万吨。
在其他大宗商品中，该公司冶金煤产量增长5%至1000万吨；能源煤产量下降17%；铜产量41.32万吨，市场预期39.4万吨。
必和必拓指出，第二季度铁矿石产量将受到其在西澳C矿区和南翼项目的影响，并表示维持全年预测不变。
第一季度镍产量为2.2万吨，同比增3%，维持对2021财年8.5-9.5万吨产量的预期不变。
智通财经曾报道，近期特斯拉(TSLA.US)与必和必拓洽谈镍供应事宜，以配合特斯拉大幅提升电动车产量的目标。据报道，特斯拉与必和必拓仍在讨论价格问题，协议的最终结果尚未可知。
