澳洲法院对AGM等三家公司处以5300多万美元的罚款
澳大利亚联邦法院日前已对AGM Markets（AGM）、OT Markets（OTM）和Ozifin Tech （Ozifin）三家公司处以7500万澳元（约合5319万美元）的罚款。
此前，澳大利亚证券投资委员会（ASIC）收到了大量散户投资者对两家公司的投诉，然后对其展开调查。
去年2月，澳大利亚法院支持ASIC，指责这些公司在销售场外（OTC）衍生品中参与了“系统性不合理的行为”。这些公司的投资者损失约3200万澳元（约合2270万美元）。
ASIC于2018年2月首次对这些公司采取行动，并于当年晚些时候取消了AGM的牌照。
法庭命令指出：“违规行为的严重性证明了高额罚款的合理性。”
AGM被责令支付3500万澳元（约合2480万美元），而其他两家则分别要支付2000万澳元（约合1419万美元）。
法官指出：“AGM的整体罚款高于OTM和Ozifin，反映了AGM未能履行其作为AFSL牌照持有人的义务。这该处罚将对其他AFSL持有人构成威慑，特别是那些场外衍生品市场的参与者。”
这三家公司都必须向受影响的10000名交易客户发起退款程序，法院还任命了三家公司的清算人。
