英国央行行长：比特币几乎没有“内在价值”
尽管疫情对经济造成了影响，英国央行行长Andrew Bailey对加密货币的立场显然没有改变。
据路透社10月12日报道，周一Bailey在英格兰银行(BoE)与英国公众的问答环节上发表了讲话。他表示，他对人们使用比特币(BTC)进行支付感到“非常紧张”，人们在投资时应该考虑资产的波动性。
“说实话，很难看出比特币有我们通常所说的内在价值，”Bailey称，“它可能具有人们想要的外在价值。”
比特币目前在Coinbase Pro的交易价格超过了8800英镑，而今年年初其价格约为5200英镑。
Bailey的声明重申了他对加密货币的看法。在他担任英国金融行为监管局（FCA)局长期间，曾于3月份的财政部特别委员会听证会上向议会成员表示，由于加密资产没有内在价值，投资者应该“做好损失所有钱的准备”。
在9月的一次虚拟会议上，Bailey强调，加密资产“不适合支付领域”，而且“与货币完全没有关系”。
不过，Bailey对法币支持的数字货币有不同的看法，他表示，稳定币可以提供“有用的好处”，包括减少支付中的摩擦。此外，他在7月份宣布，英国央行正在考虑发行央行数字货币（CBDC）。
