BitMEX运营商聘用了首席合规官
加密衍生品交易所BitMEX的运营商100x Group聘请了经验丰富的反洗钱（AML）专家Malcolm Wright担任其首席合规官。
在10月12日的声明中，100x强调了Wright作为全球数字金融咨询委员会和反洗钱工作组现任主席的身份，以及他在金融行动工作组对虚拟资产服务提供商的建议等主要议题上的发言人身份。
100X Group上周对其最高领导层进行了改组，将BitMEX联合创始人Arthur Hayes、Samuel Reed和Ben Delo的行政职务撤下。在美国商品期货交易委员会的民事诉讼中，Hayes、Reed和Delo都被指控在美国运营一个未注册的交易平台，并违反了反洗钱规定。
与此同时，美国司法部对这两位联合创始人以及他们的同事Geoff Dwyer提出了刑事指控，后者后来辞去了业务发展主管的职务。
100X Group没有明确提及最近的指控，而是正式表示“Malcolm的任命对我们来说是一个值得注意的里程碑，因为我们即将完成我们的用户验证计划，并进一步加强我们的合规功能。”
100X Group在重塑交易所形象方面面临严峻挑战。评论人士称，针对BitMEX团队的指控，已给行业投下了阴影，并可能引发针对加密领域的监管反弹。
