已有60名Coinbase员工因不满公司政治立场辞职
继Coinbase首席执行官Brian Armstrong发表公司不参与政治的立场后，已有60名员工已经离职，占公司总人数的5%，“还有一些人”正在考虑离职。Coinbase已向所有离职员工提供了“慷慨的遣散费”。
Coinbase负责商业和数据的副总裁Dan Yoo是最新提出离职的高管。他表示，如果有必要，他将留在公司直到年底，以帮助公司顺利过渡。
Armstrong此前曾担心公司政治立场对少数族裔人口的影响，然而少数族裔离职的比例并没有过高。Armstrong认为尽管目前很多人离职，但该立场最终将帮助整个团队更加团结。
Armstrong在9月27日在博客中详述公司的使命，致力于创造一个开放的金融系统，并最大限度远离社会激进主义，尽量减少关注社会问题和政治运动。
Armstrong的言论引发了支持和反对两种声音。一些人称赞他试图培养一种包容的意识形态，而另一些人则认为这脱离了实际。许多名人也作出争议性回应，包括推特首席执行官Jack Dorsey。Dorsey公开表示反对，称比特币和加密货币领域本身就是“直接的激进主义”。
