辉瑞、BioNTech或率先发布新冠疫苗后期试验初步结果

英为财情Investing.com – 据外媒报道，辉瑞制药公司 (NYSE:PFE)及其德国合作伙伴Biontech Se (NASDAQ:BNTX)可能最先公布其后期试验结果的新冠疫苗研发商。
这两家公司计划在其4.4万人的大规模试验中感染人数达到32例之后进行初次评估。而据伦敦追踪疫苗试验的分析公司Airfinity称，这最快可以在9月27日达到。
除此之外，在达到164例感染人数的目标之前，辉瑞共设定了四次中期评估。部分试验专家称，辉瑞似乎希望抢在Moderna、阿斯利康等竞争对手之前。
医疗健康网站Medscape总编辑埃里克·托波尔（Eric Topol）称，“我从未见过需要进行四次中期分析的试验。目的显而易见：这样你就可以一直关注着数据，确保赢得比赛。”
与美国国家过敏和传染病研究所合作的Moderna计划，在出现53例感染病例之后才进行深入研究；其最终目标是在病例数达到151例时作出最终判断。与牛津大学合作的阿斯利康将首先对75例进行研究，之后要达到150例之后进行判断。
辉瑞周二收涨0.64%，报36.25美元。
