智通财经APP获悉，汇丰银行近日向持有该行证券户口的客户发通知，表示由12月7日开始，对汇丰控股(00005)和恒生银行(00011)的孖展比率，将由现在的60%降至零，相当于停止提供这两只股的孖展信贷。
汇丰发言人表示，会不定期检查股票孖展比率，汇控及恒生股票的孖展信贷将于今年12月7日起终止，建议客户于3个月通知期之内处理投资组合，而职员将向客户提供协助。
一般而言，针对个别股票暂停孖展信贷，多数原因是对该股的公司业务或股价前景存在重大忧虑，本次却不同。据悉，汇丰叫停自身股票和子公司恒生的孖展信贷，是基于各银行受监管条例限制，为免风险过份集中，所以不会为客户提供自身股票抵押或孖展信贷的服务。
