加密货币交易所Kraken获准在美国开设银行
加密货币交易所Kraken日前宣布，已获得美国怀俄明州批准，成立全球首个特殊目的存储机构(SPDI)。
新机构名为Kraken Financial，将为美国客户提供数字资产和本国货币银行服务。
Kraken Financial支持使用加密货币支付账单和领取工资，还可以将数字资产纳入投资组合。其将受到与美国其他银行相同的监管。
Kraken Financial总部位于怀俄明州夏延市，是美国历史上第一家获得联邦和州法律认可银行执照的数字资产公司，也是第一家为数字资产提供综合存款、托管和信托服务的受监管美国银行。
此前Kraken宣布将通过其在东京的子公司Payward Asia重返日本市场。Kraken在2018年初退出日本市场，主要原因是维护成本过高。
