嘉盛集团首席执行官回应收购传闻
上周，在线交易公司Gain Capital（嘉盛集团，纽交所代码：GCAP）公布了2019年第二季度的主要财务指标，而许多人都在等待有关嘉盛集团和Plus500可能合并的消息。
在业绩公布后的财报电话会议上，这个问题得到了间接的解答。
Sandler O ‘Neill的Rich Repetto问道：“（嘉盛集团）与其他公司合并的好处是什么？如何看待合并一事？”
GAIN Capital的首席执行官Glenn Stevens回答说：“合并一事尚在讨论中，我们代表了股东和利益相关方，因此我们必须从两方面评估这一机会。我们在收购方面一直非常积极。”
“过去10年，我们进行了相当数量的并购，但这并不意味着我们没有恰当地、正当地接纳新来者。所以我对这一传言不予置评，这不仅是公司的政策的要求，而且也是毫无助益的做法。”
