澳洲ASIC叫停计划融资5000万美元的ICO项目
近日，澳大利亚证券监管机构ASIC叫停一项计划融资5000万美元的首次代币发行（ICO）项目。该ICO的发行公司名为Global Tech Exchange，位于澳大利亚布里斯班。
据外媒报道，Global Tech计划通过此次ICO筹集1000万至5000万美元，用以创建加密货币交易平台。该ICO原定于12月10日开售，但实际上9月12日就启动了。虽然尚不清楚已筹集多少资金，但Global Tech表示已根据ASIC的要求向投资者退款。
今年8月，在该ICO尚未公开发售时，知名板球运动员Michael Clarke就在推特中发文透露参与此事，为该ICO引来不少公众关注。因此，此时Global Tech表示Michael不会再与Global Tech有任何关联。
ASIC自今年4月以来至少叫停了5个ICO项目，其中一些ICO在暂停后经过重组已符合法律规定，而其他一些具有欺骗性的ICO则被完全禁止。
目前ASIC尚未对叫停Global Tech的ICO作出任何评论，根据ASIC的文件显示，Global Tech于10月19日向ASIC提交了一份自愿撤销注册的申请。
