众筹公司IndieGoGo推出证券型代币销售平台
众筹平台IndieGoGo近日宣布允许公司出售证券型代币。
该平台第一个证券代币销售将由房地产信托投资企业Aspen Digital进行。Aspen Digital目前正使用IndieGoGo销售科罗拉多州某豪华滑雪度假村的代币投资项目。该项目由Aspen Digital和纽约加密经纪商Templum合作开发，并创建了一种名为“Aspen Coins”的代币。
Aspen Coins代币将允许投资者间接拥有Aspen Digital的股权，并可使用美元，比特币和以太坊购买Aspen Coins。
IndieGoGo表示，虽然证券代币销售（STO）类似于首次代币发行（ICO），但证券代币会受到更多的监管。因此，业界普遍认为STO的风险较小，进行STO的公司必须遵守监管要求。
IndieGoGo于2017年12月创立ICO托管平台。当时，该公司联合创始人Slava Rubin表示，希望为整个行业建立信任度，推动ICO成为主流。而今天，Rubin指出，证券代币销售平台的推出反映了IndieGoGo顺应市场的需要实施持续增长的战略。
IndieGoGo在推出其ICO平台前已经营众筹业务多年，该公司于2016年与股权众筹网站MicroVentures合作。
