目前市场上有两种观点：
1、CPI 创新高，美元上涨，黄金利空
当前市场价格是情绪是在预期的位置——不创新高，当CPI创新高的时候，说明美联储的货币政策需要更强的药剂，进而会继续加大货币政策的力度，则利空黄金。反则利多黄金。
2、CPI符合预期，美元上涨，黄金利空
当前黄金市场价格是情绪是在美国依然是高通胀的位置，当CPI没有创新高的时候符合预期的时候，说明美联储的货币政策有效抑制了通胀，进而会继续加大货币政策的力度，则利空黄金。反则利多黄金。另外4小时技术面已经出现顶背离的现象。
