12月27日，阿联酋卫生和预防部批准紧急使用国药集团中国生物二代重组蛋白新冠疫苗。这也是全球首个获批紧急使用的二代新冠疫苗。该新冠疫苗针对多种变异毒株具有广谱保护效力。阿联酋已对该疫苗开展相关研究，它将作为加强针用于已接种两剂中国生物新冠灭活疫苗的人群。
