WeLab宣布收购印尼雅加达服务银行
亚洲金融科技平台WeLab日前宣布将收购印尼雅加达服务银行(Bank Jasa Jakarta)， 以扩大其在印尼地区的业务。WeLab在香港拥有一家数字银行，目前计划在亚洲推出第二家数字银行。
印尼是世界上增长最快的经济体之一，为新兴金融科技公司提供了重大机遇。据统计，该国约77%的人口没有银行账户或账户不足。
一个由WeLab牵头的财团为这笔收购筹集了近2.4亿美元。该公司称，新资金将用于回购股份和进行科技投资，摩根大通担任此次收购的财务顾问。
WeLab的服务需求在过去几个月里急剧上升。为了加速扩张，WeLab于今年3月在由安联(Allianz)领投的融资中筹集了7500万美元。WeLab总部位于香港，拥有超过15万数字银行客户。
