韩税务局表彰税务人员发现3200万美元加密货币
韩国国家税务署(NTS)日前授予一名税务官员Hwang Byung-gwang“优秀公务员”的称号，以表彰他发现了当局追踪的3230万美元加密货币。
基于Hwang的研究结果，韩国国家税务署(National Tax Service)手机了2416名个人的信息，其中大部分人位于首尔。
韩国一直积极监督与加密税收相关的活动，甚至曾没收或清算过与逃税有关的加密货币。
近日，韩国政府官员对使用虚拟货币隐藏收入的逃税者发起了大规模打击。据了解，当地有1.2万人涉嫌逃税，其中包括一名电视主持人、一名医生和数千名韩国富有投资者，被查获的比特币、以太币和其他加密货币价值超过4700万美元。
此外，韩国政府将继续推进对加密货币征税的计划。从2023年5月开始，加密持有者需要在年度财报中报告其持有量，当局将对征收20%的税收。
