加拿大批准首个以太坊ETF
比特币交易所交易基金（ETF）取得巨大成功之后，加拿大证券监管机构日前批准了以太坊ETF，这是世界上首个直接托管的以太坊ETF。
这只ETF是由Purpose Investments推出的，该公司此前管理加拿大首个比特币ETF。
根据公告，该ETF将直接投资于以太币，并将提供三类单位：加元货币对冲单位（ETHH），加元非货币对冲单位（ETHH.B）和美元单位（ETHH.U） ）。
Purpose负责管理该ETF，Ether Capital担任咨询公司。Gemini将担任托管人，CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services将担任基金管理人。
ETF将追踪TradeBlock ETX指数的每日现货价格。
美国监管机构目前仍未批准比特币ETF。
最近，加拿大监管机构还批准了Horizons的两种比特币ETF，其中一种将允许投资者对比特币建立空头头寸。
