Robinhood或向SEC、FINRA支付2600万美元罚款
Robinhood近日面临多个机构的监管调查。
据了解，SEC和FINRA也在调查Robinhood 2020年的服务中断问题，以及一名业余期权交易者的自杀事件。如果Robinhood同意就监管机构的调查达成和解，该公司可能需要支付超过2600万美元的罚款。
目前每个调查的细节都很少，且双方尚未就拟议的罚款进行正式谈判。
美国监管机构还证实，他们将调查近期由Reddit上的散户投资者团体推动的大量做空的情况。
SEC并未提及Robinhood或任何其他交易平台的名称，但明确指出其将“密切审查受监管实体采取的可能不利于投资者的行为，或以其他方式不适当地抑制投资者交易某些证券能力的行为。”
Robinhood还被指控在多个时间点暂停GameStop交易时参与了市场操纵。除了采用激进的营销策略来吸引经验不足的交易者外，还包括使用“游戏化的方法来控制客户”。
为了消除这些负面评价，Robinhood最近宣布对其期权交易产品进行多项更改。
