Brazil Melakukan Intervensi Di Bursa Valas Untuk Kekang Penurunan Real
Brasil melakukan intervensi di pasar valuta asing pada Kamis untuk pertama kalinya tahun ini, karena real (BRL) – mata uangnya – turun ke posisi terendah empat bulan terhadap dolar AS, menurut Reuters.
Bank sentral menjual $1,5 miliar dalam dua lelang. USD/BRL naik ke 5,5387 pada hari Kamis – level tertinggi sejak 6 November – dan terakhir terlihat di 5,5313.
Dengan imbal hasil US Treasury 10-tahun naik hampir 100 basis poin di atas imbal hasil Brasil, biaya peluang investasi di Brasil telah berubah secara dramatis, kepala perdagangan di sebuah bank di Sao Paulo mengatakan kepada Reuters.
