俄罗斯最大银行Sberbank申请推出区块链平台
俄罗斯最大的国有银行Sberbank已向该国央行申请推出一个基于区块链的平台，该平台将允许该行发行自己的数字货币。
据了解，该申请已于1月初提交，如果Sberbank顺利获得监管机构的批准，其计划在春季推出去中心化平台。
Sberbank副主席Anatoly Popov表示：“从技术上讲，我行已准备好使用数字货币，我们已经对其进行了内部测试且该解决方案有效。”
申请流程需要45天，监管机构将在此期限内征求意见或直接批准该申请。
Sberbank进入区块链领域并不令人惊讶，因为其去年已透露推出数字货币的计划。此前，Sberbank与JP Morgan合作以试验其数字货币。但当时尚不清楚该试验的细节和初步时间表。
随着俄罗斯从法律上开始将加密货币视为财产，该国的加密货币法律正在形成。然而，政府希望限制加密货币的零售发行，并希望追踪公民的数字货币持有情况。
同时，俄罗斯央行今年初提出了发行数字卢布的草案，将其视为第三种货币形式。
