ECB Seharusnya Tidak Berbicara Tentang Kebijakan Fiskal – IIF
Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) seharusnya berhenti berbicara tentang kebijakan fiskal karena memberikan persepsi bahwa bank kehabisan amunisi, menurut Robin Brooks, Kepala Ekonom di Institute of International Finance (IIF).
Bank sentral 17 negara itu harus fokus pada masalah inti perbedaan suku bunga dan dampaknya pada nilai tukar EUR.
"Suku bunga zona euro belum turun sebanyak suku bunga AS (biru). Hal itu memberi tekanan apresiasi pada Euro, yang mengancam refleks Zona Euro," cuit Brooks pada hari Minggu.
EUR/USD saat ini diperdagangkan di 1,1969, level tertinggi sejak 1 September.
