全年城镇新增就业1352万人，连续7年保持在1300万人以上，明显高于1100万人以上的预期目标，完成全年目标的122.9%。12月份，全国城镇调查失业率为5.2%，2019年各月全国城镇调查失业率保持在5.0%-5.3%之间，实现了低于5.5%左右的预期目标。全国主要就业人员群体25-59岁人口调查失业率为4.7%。12月份，31个大城市城镇调查失业率为5.2%。2019年末，城镇登记失业率为3.62%，比上年末降低0.18个百分点，符合4.5%以内的预期目标。年末全国就业人员77471万人，其中城镇就业人员44247万人。全年农民工总量29077万人，比上年增加241万人，增长0.8%。其中，本地农民工11652万人，增长0.7%；外出农民工17425万人，增长0.9%。农民工月均收入水平3962元，比上年增长6.5%。
