U.S. WTI crude futures lost $0.93 to $68.36 per barrel on Tuesday due to the strong U.S. dollar. The U.S. dollar index rebounded for a second straight session, gaining 0.4% to 92.53. Later today, the American Petroleum Institute (API) will report U.S. oil inventories data for the week ending September 3.
