3月和4月美国减少约 2,200 万就业岗位，自那时起美国已创造约 1,200 万个就业岗位，净减少约 1,000 万个就业岗位，占2月总就业人数的6.6%，波动较大的家庭调查显示失业率呈现更为乐观的前景；
未来数月对就业市场复苏至关重要，目前研发出几种新冠病毒疫苗，明年夏天的经济生活可能会开始恢复正常，但是由于处在假期当中，新增新冠病毒病例将处在高峰期，许多州对私人活动施加新的限制，未来数月经济形势可能特别艰难
