The FollowMe® PHR is simple to use. Once you sign up you will receive a login and password. You can enter and update your health information at anytime. FollowMe has individual and family accounts that allow you to register up to 8 family members and start managing their health information. You can scan in and store operative reports, lab results and even CT or MRI images. You simply scan and store any documents to your computer and then once you are logged into your FollowMe account, go to the scanned documents menu option and upload the files you wish to keep in your PHR. You can then share those images with whomever you choose or simply have them stored in a safe location that can be accessed from anywhere FollowMe subscribers can download an Emergency Medical Card that lists emergency contacts, medical conditions and any medications and/or allergies. These cards can be printed at any time when information is updated or changed and can be given to schools, teachers, carried in wallets, stored in the car glove box, or given to other family members. You can share information with your doctor or medical provider in two ways. (1) You can print out a summary report of your FollowMe record and present it to your doctor, (2) you can give them your login and password and they can view the information and add to it. Other FollowMe products such as MiVIA and HealthShack also provide a way for your doctor or other medical providers to sign up as a Network Provider and view and enter information securely into your record, with permission by you, through a special clinician portal.
